MISSION:

The E. Philip Saunders College of Business provides high-quality education and conducts applied research, preparing graduates to be pragmatic leaders, managers, and business professionals in a technology-intensive, globally-competitive environment. We combine:

    * a curriculum emphasizing understanding and managing business processes, and strategic
       and operational excellence, with
    * caring faculty and staff in a student-centered learning environment that fosters intellectual   
      growth, ethical behavior, and development of skills for effectiveness.

 

E. Philip Saunders College of Business students are prepared to excel in the exhilarating, yet demanding environment of business today. Our undergraduate programs are at the forefront with an emphasis on the international perspective, the latest technologies, and quality management practices.

Students are guided by faculty with teaching, research, and business expertise. Classes are small and diverse.

Our undergraduates receive a solid grounding in all the functional areas of business and have many opportunities to expand their learning through the required liberal arts courses, optional business minors, and flexible free electives.

Students develop specialized career skills by completing one of seven majors, and gain immediate value for future employers through full-time work experience in the required co-operative education work blocks.
