Hope Lake Lodge Resort and Indoor Waterpark, located in Virgil, NY at the gateway to the Finger Lakes region, will be a premier tourism destination, as well as one of Upstate New York’s largest “green” projects. Financing for the $38 million project has been secured, facilitated by a $10 million USDA Rural Development loan guarantee and a blend of other sources. With site plan approvals and permits in place, construction is underway.
The 106-room, five-story condominium hotel complex will feature a 40,000 square foot indoor waterpark with a wave pool, three-story tube slide, 500 feet of body slides, indoor/outdoor swimming pools and hot tubs. Other resort amenities will include an international health spa, fitness center, childcare and activity center, and restaurant, along with meeting rooms that will augment existing large-scale conference space at the adjacent Greek Peak ski resort base lodge.
